Walters Pumpkin Patch
|
Pumpkins, Pumpkins and More PumpkinsLast week students had the chance to discover Walters Pumpkin Patch, located in Burns, KS. Here students were able to choose their own pumpkin, jump on a giant trampoline, slide through underground tunnels, swing on tire horses, and so much more. The kids all had a great time, located to the right are some pictures of our awesome adventure together. Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us and assist during the field trip. Your helpfulness was greatly appreciated. |
Animals All Around Students were able to learn about a variety of animals and then build a natural habitat for them to live in within our classroom. Students made frogs, black footed leopards, kangaroos, giraffes, snow leopards, zebra's, and monkeys. At the end of the unit students took a field trip to Tanganyika Wild LIfe Park, in Goddard KS. Here we experienced a personal guided tour through the park and each student will have the opportunity to feed assigned animals.
